BOOK DESCRIPTION
Murderbot wasn’t programmed to care. So, its decision to help the only human who ever showed it respect must be a system glitch, right?
Having traveled the width of the galaxy to unearth details of its own murderous transgressions, as well as those of the GrayCris Corporation, Murderbot is heading home to help Dr. Mensah—its former owner (protector? friend?)—submit evidence that could prevent GrayCris from destroying more colonists in its never-ending quest for profit.
But who’s going to believe a SecUnit gone rogue?
And what will become of it when it’s caught?

MY REVIEW
Alright, so this series is really picking up some steam. Each book has gotten better and better, and Exit Strategy continues that trend with a more serious tone this time, the light hearted laughter is still there, but I’m digging that the seriousness was turned up a notch. Wells has done a tremendous job of making me crave more and more of Murderbot, to a point where I’m knocking two of these out in a single day because I want more.
“I was having an emotion, and I hate that. I’d rather have nice safe emotions about shows on the entertainment media; having them about things real-life humans said and did just led to stupid decisions”
I love Murderbot’s character development throughout this series, watching his growth has been fun, and seeing how it’s currently developing is very nice, and I look forward to continue to see his growth. The narration by Kevin Free continues to be an absolute delight, he really helps bring the story and the characters to life in such a fun and serious way. I’m not sure I could experience this any other way.
