MY REVIEW
A very funny sequel to Devil’s Dream. Sorin still getting used to the 21st century, as well as the banter between characters make this a very enjoyable read. With that said, my main issue from Devil’s Dream was that we didn’t get enough backstory on how Sorin was created. This is addressed more in Devil’s Cry which makes me feel a lot better. However, I feel like the two books should’ve been a single book. After I read the third I may feel like all 3 should’ve been a single book, and that is because they are so short at 10 hours a piece.

I didn’t realize this in book 1, but this has a small nod to The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen with some of its cast of peculiar characters. Greek Mythology, New allies and new villains adding depth to the story, and the amount of giggling I did would make anyone think I was watching a comedy sitcom. Hilarious, and I loved it! Ending in a twist that I didn’t even see coming just left me shocked and excited to see what is in store for me in the finale, Devil’s Blood.
