Their own kind, or each other?

MY REVIEW

Angelfall was mentioned as a Top 100 book ALL TIME by Time magazine. I thought it was a pretty good book, but nowhere close to being a top 100 all time novel. World After was a lackluster sequel, and End of Days was even worse. This was a very disappointing finale but with how book 2 went for me, this is no surprise that book 3 continued that slide. The underage 17 year old, ancient celestial Angel romance angle is odd for me and MUST stop being used. It’s weird, and chapter 5 was pretty disgusting in my opinion.

Penryn was a great character in Angelfall, but all that is gone now. She’s more or less just a horny teenager trying to bang Raffe, while also fighting angels, Angel scorpions called locusts, and other creatures. I almost stopped after chapter 5, but kept going. Almost stopped around 20% but kept going. I finally decided to put it down after 50%. I just didn’t care and didn’t want to waste any more time on the book. What started out as a good series, went downhill after book 1. Maybe others will like it, but for me, this is a bad finale.
