Review: Reaper (Cradle #10) by Will Wight

MY ⭐️ RATING: 5/5

FORMAT: Kindle Whispersync

BOOK DESCRIPTION

Sacred Valley has been saved……at least, what’s left of it. With his home finally secure, Lindon delves deep into the ancient labyrinth, seeking long-lost Soulsmithing knowledge and the secret to destroying the Dreadgods. Monarchs plot against him and against each other, unaware of the threats gathering in realms beyond. Far above Lindon and the Monarchs and the Dreadgods, another war is waged.
Suriel and the Abidan clash against the Mad King and his forces in a battle for the fate of many worlds. And if it is lost, Cradle will be destroyed.

MY REVIEW

If you’re reading this review, then that means you already love this series. So to you, I say, you’ll love this one even more than the ones before!

Travis Baldree with the riveting narration once again, he’s in a class of his own! This was exceptional. Wight gets better and better with every single novel of this series and I just can’t get enough of it. I want to say that this can’t get any better, but since Will has been able to continuously do that, I won’t say it. Lindon has progressed like a fine wine and has reached his peak to become THE favorite character, that doesn’t take away from the others, because they are just as fantastic… although, one is missed big time.

The story and world building is incredible, it takes epic, and makes it more epic! The battle sequences are absolutely stunning, and are part of what makes the epic more epic. There was quite a bit of banter at the beginning that had me rolling, I actually started the chapters over just to hear it again, because that’s how good it was. We finally get to go into a deeper story that involves more of the Abidan, which if you’ve read my earlier reviews, this was something that I had loved with the small teasers.

…and to borrow from Marvel
